BladderScan™ Technology |
|
| |
|
 |
The
BladderScan (Diagnostic Ultrasound Corporation) is a portable,
ultrasound device that measures bladder volume noninvasively.
The easy-to-use BladderScan is the standard of care for
bladder volume measurement, quickly providing accurate
results in a manner that is safe and comfortable for the
patient |
The
BladderScan uses patented V-mode® technology to create
a three-dimensional image of the bladder and calculate volume
based on this image. V-mode ultrasound tends to be more accurate
than conventional two-dimensional ultrasound, as measurements
are based on a more complete, multi-faceted 3D image.
In
this BladderScan in-service training section, you’ll
learn how to use the BladerScan to measure a patient's bladder
volume.
