Pediatric Bladder Volume Instrument

The easy-to-use, handheld Pediatric BladderScan^® enables healthcare providers to measure a child's bladder volume noninvasively, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary conditions.

The Pediatric BladderScan^® prevents unnecessary catheterization and reduces the risk of infection and upper urinary tract damage. It also minimizes the risk of prolonged or undiagnosed urinary retention. And because it is gentle and noninvasive, the Pediatric BladderScan^® eliminates unnecessary trauma to pediatric patients.

The Pediatric BladderScan^® is optimized for children up to 48" (122 cm) tall and weighing up to 60 lbs. (27 kg). The bladder volume range of the BVI 6200 is 0 to 200 ml. Ultrasound images from exams can be viewed on ScanPoint®, the innovative online service from Verathon^®.
